The CUA Hardwood Club is an organization for very special people -- any alumni or friends of the Catholic University of America -- who are interested in supporting and fostering the growth of the men's basketball program. Hardwood Club members are dedicated to excellence in Catholic University Basketball.

Hardwood Club Goals


      Our primary goals are to achieve the very best overall academic and athletic program for our basketball team and to aid our players in making positive contributions to the community.

      To raise funds, we are dependant on the generosity of our members. Last year we raised a record $27,000. Our goal for this year is $35,000. This is a very optimistic goal, but we are confident that it can be reached because of the type of people we are contacting. It is a select group of friends. There is no mass-mailing with this club. We want the Hardwood Club to be a big family.

     

Membership Levels


      Membership is available to anyone for a minimum tax-deductible contribution of fifty dollars ($50). This donation entitles the member to receive a Catholic University Basketball T-Shirt.

      Executive Membership is available to anyone for a a minimum tax-deductible contribution of one-hundred dollars ($100). Executive Members receive a choice of a Catholic University Nike sweatshirt or golfshirt.

     Membership in the Hardwood Club's prestigiuos "Cardinal Council" is available to anyone for a minimum tax-deductible contribution of two-hundred and fifty dollars ($250). Members if the "Cardinal Council" receive a Catholic University Nike sweatsuit.
